Ishan Sachdev is at the heart of everything Deciens does – from fund operations to identifying, growing, and supporting the next wave of fintech innovators like beatBread, Pippin, and Tint. With extensive expertise across both financial services and fintech, he focuses on uncovering the companies poised to redefine the future of finance and guiding them toward sustainable, long-term success.

Before Deciens, Ishan was a growth equity investor and an early member of the portfolio operations team at PSG Equity. He previously worked as a venture capital investor at Bain Capital Ventures, a proprietary trader at Goldman Sachs, and co-founded MIT Alumni Angels, the only angel group affiliated with MIT. Ishan also served as an executive at iPay Technologies, a Bain Capital Ventures and Spectrum Equity-backed payments company, where he played a pivotal role in its acquisition by Jack Henry & Associates.

Ishan earned his MBA with distinction from Harvard Business School, where he also served as a policy advisor in the Office of Capital Markets at the U.S. Department of the Treasury, focusing on the global financial crisis. He holds M.Eng. and S.B. degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from MIT.

Boston is home base for Ishan, and when he’s not immersed in Deciens work, he enjoys cooking, playing squash, and hitting the slopes.
